Hi,
just found this site. soon to move to a 1940's weatherboard house Croydon, Victoria in need of some work. Has a lot of its original features.
Only been in the country 8 months so new to most things over here. We want to try and return this house to its original condition as much as possible.
First on the list is a bathroom.
Can anyone recommend some places that may sell salvage bathroom furniture, ie. sinks and toilets. We will then be moving on to the living room where we will be looking for a fire surround and sash windows among other things.

G'day Steve and welcome to the forums and to Australia. Good to have you here!:2tsup::2tsup::2tsup:

There is a great Renovate forum further down the page. Click there, register and go for it.

Hi and welcome to the forum. You are best to check out local demolition yards for old parts of houses. Plenty of those about. Google might be a good place to start. As suggested by artme, the renovators forum may help you with this. Great advice to be had from the guys who frequent that part of the forum.
Good luck with your project. :2tsup:
