Who designed this Shaper

This little beauty was on the way to a Metal Recycler when I rescued it.

Stroke: About 5 inches
Width : About 5 inches
Speeds 3.Pulley changes... 30, 60 and 120 strokes per min
Feed per stroke: Variable up to 0.010 inches
DOC ..Light to very light....No hogging.

Should be OK for internal keyways and dovetails although short on stroke.

Can any one recognize the design?
It was evidently home made some 30+ years ago.

You lucky bugger. Whoever built that was a very clever craftsman, I wish I had his talent (or his shaper)
Great score I hope you have many years of machining on it. If ever you want to sell it I am here..Hint Hint.......
By the way I have never seen one like it before.

Many thanks for your comments and I will search for more information before I sell it (just joking!!!!)
I have been 'Playing with it for the last few days and agree that whoever built it was a fine Toolmaker/Craftsman.Although deflection and squareness are pronounced during medium cuts the fitting and tolerances are superb. A few shims in the right places should suffice. One thing I have learned it that 'slow and easy' gets the results.
I need to make tool adapters to produce internal keyways .
I have taken some action videos and with try to upload them.
