The hull looks pretty amazingly good. The lack of spars and sails implies a great cost to get it going.

Considering, she looks great. Very little hog noticeable, though I see a touch, I wish this was close to me, as I'd probably pick it up, take my time, find the necessary parts in the next several years, then do her right.

I for one wouldn't be at all surprised if this boat makes it back for a second or even third showing on ebay. I have noticed a lot of people bid on Jonathons auctions on things they have never seen and when reality kicks in they get cold feet and renege on the deal, just cast your minds back to a Diamond thirty footer that made I think four appearances before finally maybe finding a home.

Good point, I've noticed that too.

Perhaps I should have said: "Provisionally" sold for $1000 after 41 bids!

It adds new meaning to the auctioneers chant "Going once, going twice ...."

Supposedly sold for $1000 after 41 bids. No explanation as to why it's relisted.

No explanation as to why it's relisted. ....Easy, Like I said, people bid without having ever looked at the boat or what is required to get it back to a seaworthy state. Jonathan lists most of his boats at the bottom end of the market and thus attracts the bottomfeeders. They bid in the hope that they don't win the auction so that after the event they can lament about "The one that got away". Generally and unfortunately one of them gets left holding the bag so to speak and ends being the "winning" bidder. No real harm done, they rejoin ebay with a new ID with no strikes against their name and Jonathan has to convince ebay that he shouldn't pay them the money they are entitled to following a valid sale.
