I just bought this American Woodworking Co. mitre guilitine, vintage around 1890 -1900 great working order cuts straight and true slices through jarrah .... I love it
Any idea what its worth?? or where to get some more info on it By the way its not for sale

There is one of those hidden in the back of a store room at uni, amongst other items our technician thinks are redundant to the power tools. But they are oh so nice to use.
Apparently the one at uni came from a canvas stretcher and picture framer that closed down. Makes sense.
Good find. I'm jealous

such a joy to use! the slicing sound of a good sharp blade cant be beaten by the scream of a chopsaw!
