Thank you's
Firstly thank you to Liz, Rick and the rest of the EEE family, for once again putting on an outstanding show. There were many more demonstrators than ever before in Sydney and hardly any non woodwork related stuff. Rest areas were plentiful and the bacon and egg rolls, coffee, etc for early arrivals was a great idea. Well done EEE I hope the rest of this years shows go as well.
A big thank you to Jeremy (jmk89) for doing a great job organising people for the Forums Stand at short notice, he even brought a card table into the show on public transport. Now that's dedication to the job.:clap3:
Thank you to all those members who put in time on the stand talking to people. Well done. :brava
A big thank you to Kiro from Vek :woot: for getting us out of trouble by loaning us their 3 Mobile USB wireless modem to use on the Forum stand after the Telstra piece of garbage refused point blank to work even after five hours on the phone Friday night trying to get the problems solved.
Couple of interesting facts:
The numbers were down approx 390 on last year..... However last year's numbers were up on the previous couple of years by well over 40% so all in all, (in the current climate), this was a really good fantastic result. :2tsup:
The Auto Teller Machine at the show dispensed over $70,000 during the show. This was a record for any show held at Moore Park.
We (U-Beaut Polishes) had one of the best Sydney Show we have ever had and we've been to 16 of them so far.
