This is my first thread. Hope it comes through okay.
This is a turned box I made for the recent Forum Box competition but unfortunately for technical reasons it did not get through to the judging.
Made from Huon Pine and measures 72mm x 72mm x 210mm high.
Free hand woodturned and then transferred across to my OT machine for all detail work. Design inspired from Washington Capitol Building.
I have included two box photos and two of my OT machine.
Hope it is of interest.
Cheers

Thanks for your comment.
Its not a saw blade. Its a specially designed toothed Indexed plate and graduated accordingly for fast and easy use.

Thanks Ray and I thought I might add the machine specs for those interested.

Swing capacity 200mm diam
Between centers 225mm
Spindle thread. Same as my woodlathe
No 2 morse taper in spindle
Fully Indexed Headstock
Outboard gear train and leadscrew for cutting spirals
Cross slide modified to Holtzappfel controls. Zero thread backlash
Cross slide can rotate as well as move in and out from centre
Motor support column including rise and fall
Universal cast clamp holds cutter motor or Trimmer router
Motor can be positioned horizontal or vertical to suit cutting method required
Tailstock support assembly

Accessories
Various cutter mandrels for horizontal and vertical cutting
Range of profile cutters
Drill chuck for router bits, end mills and drills
Adjustable eccentric cutter
Cross slide including adjustable fence fitted to Headstock spindle for holding square and irregular shapes. For off set pattern work etc.

All projects are free hand turned on my woodlathe then transferred to the OT machine for detail work.
The machine is physically small but big on capacity and capablity.
I designed it after two previous models and a OT lathe that I owned.
All were too big and too many belts and levers, a lot of set up time and not so user friendly.
My latest which is a few years old now has solved all these problems.
Original OT work was described as 95% maths and setting up and 5% fun.
I tried to reverse that to 95% fun and 5% set up etc. I think I am real close.

Cheers to all
