Polyester Resin casting I poured yesterday and turned this morning.
Used one layer of Almond Church Windows and some Blue Neck Tippets.
Sanded to 400 grit, buffed with fine steel wool and polished with Huts Ultra Gloss.

Do you have any other types of feathers in mind for casting.?

Yes, I will be going to Calgary in 2 weeks to get Lady Amherst, Reeves Pheasant and Ring Necked Pheasant skins.
Will also be getting some Guinea and Duck as well..
These will give a greater variation in colors and feather sizes.

Another great looking blank Les :2tsup:

I have just scored quite a few Peacock Eye feathers off Ebay from HK. Any guidance you can give as to the best way of holding them down whilst casting?

Still experimenting with different types of adhesives.
So far so good.
