The Missus heard this bloke on the ABC and tracked this down.
Interesting....his name sounds as though he's Italian, but he's a Scot.

I met John Prine once.......good bloke...great writer.

yeah that's the one, keep on missing them too but have found more and more the ABC has replays of a lot of it's shows on their site, once you get used to navigating around there's some gems to be found.

He sings up a treat and makes the hairs on the back of the neck stand on end, reminds of of some old dude I heard singing a while back.....:p what was his name again..........:wink:
