thought i would have a go at making a box , i decided to use some of my huon pine for the task and jazz it up by tying a celtic knot in it .
the box is 45mm dia and 80mm high not including me knob.
the knot is w/red cedar and my funny looking knob on the lid is mky/cedar
i have also included a picture of my hi tech no expense spared setup on my scms that i created for cutting and easy to repeat the 45 degree required for the knot .
i do it that way because i don't like to move my saw from its 90 degree spot unless i really have to ,
after finishing this little item i have decided i need to buy a saw tooth bit set or rather move it a bit further up my want list.
