My wife asked me to make a new clipboard for her CO's daily signals. I had a few "out there" ideas which were promply vetoed by Lisa but I finally convinced her to go with this:). I could probably name the woods used but not just yet. Finish is Ubeaut Hard Shellac.

Cool!
In the army, we reckoned the most dangerous thing was an officer with a clipboard & map.:D

Border is Tassie Blackwood, there are 12 strips going across
1 Tas Oak?
2 NG Rosewood
3 Forest Oak
4 Syd Bluegum?
5 Myrtle
6 Tas Oak?
7 Forest Oak
8 Tas Oak?
9 Myrtle
10 Forest Oak
11 NG Rosewood?
12 Syd Bluegum?

A few of the above are pure guesses but there are one or two correct in there. The border is definately Blackwood:rolleyes:

I wonder if you might be getting a few more 'orders' :D

Has Mrs Corbs used it at work yet? How did it go?

Apparently it was well received in the Comms Department, don't know if it went to the boss yet though? I'm posting onto a ship in Aug so might see what my new CO's board looks like:rolleyes:

Don't forget to check if the new CO came through Duntroon or somewhere else.
If he came through Duntroon you have to make two.........one for him and one for the 2IC who can actually write.

Watson, there won't be any of my CO's that go through Duntroon. Mine will all come through ADFA/Creswell:wink:... similar school of thought but better be careful as I suspect there may be a few current/former Naval officers amongst our ranks:rolleyes:
