marquetry patterns

Hi I am looking for drawings that you start off with when you start a marquetry project. I have made some by copying pictures and then simplyfying then to make it suitable for the wood veneer. I am not a very good drawer so find it difficult to draw my own. If some one has done marquetry items and still has the original drawings could they let me have a copy.The books i have looked at dont seem to have any dawings in them.

Hi for a quick fix if you can get to a library borrow some books on lead lighting and trace some of the drawings they provide.

Pity you are not closer I am running a Marquetry Workshop in November.

Hi That sounds a good idea thank you My Email is [email protected]. while i was looking for patterns i found a web site called www.connectlines.com (http://www.connectlines.com) which sells a dvd for pattern making from digital photos.I have only just recieved it so i am ploughing my way thru the instructions
