the draw has been done
making sure it goes from state to state

ok when you get the box have a good look at what you would like to keep and refill with goods of your own (blanks timber/acrylic and any thing else pen related )

ONLY TAKE PICS AND POST HERE OF WHAT YOU TAKE OUT OF THE BOX NOT WHATS STILL INSIDE OR WHAT YOU THROW IN

and let everyone know here what goodies you kept :2tsup:

i will also be posting pics of what i started with only when i finally get it back

start looking at stuff to put in the box and also go grab a 3 kg prepaid bag as soon as possible because of the time it takes between some states and keep it moving

Hi Guys
Back on two legs with the help of two other metal sticks and have already been into the workshop and made 6 acrylic Sierra's.
You all that are waiting for the mystery box can be lucky we are in Aussy and not Africa. I sent a pen for my brothers birthday to Namibia (to hard to explain where that is so look on the map) I sent it in April and it arrived on the 26 August. It was in the same year namely 2010. His birthday is the 21 July. The funny thing is I sent it airmail. Now we are trying to figure out what aircraft was used. Even an old Dakota is faster than that. Any ideas???:oo:
Troy, I am excited as when I receive a parcel from my suppliers I stop all and rip into it although I know what I ordered. I will visit Mackay next week and will pop into your work.

Tougher decision than Windsor and Oakshot but I won't draw it out like they did.

I have finally put together a modified slim line, a first for me.

I used the Burdekin Plum and a piece of Silky oak I have laying around.

I think I have found a new slim line shape I like :)

The kit is a fancy slim line, I decided to try something different ( for me anyway) I used to make my slim lines with a more "hour glass" style body, but I think I like this design better.

If you can sort out the vagaries of Australia Post then you would make a fortune...all frivolity aside it was sent to Islander, in Queensland,on 23 September...my experience of sending and receiving parcels from Toowoomba is that they never get there or here on time and Telstra increases its income when we havevto trace it...Regards...George

Things take time over here on Russell Island. One can't rush these things and it's not every day that we get parcels from over seas you know:p
I did fetch the parcel and had a good look. There were some interesting pen blanks and I emphisise were as I took them:oo: I put in some interesting stuff as well and will give the history when it is advertised what it is and who has what.

I hope the search party's have found me now. My camera is on the blink so sorry, no photo of what I took. That remains a mystary till I work out how to connect my mobile to my computor. Problems, problems, problems. There must be some truth in the saying that teenagers are good for something. It's to work out the tech stuff for me.:D
