It means that we have danced this merry jig with you before ..... it is not a place for you to get free advertising for your holly wood.

Fair go Stinky :)While I dont agree with spamming the boards for commercial benefit, I have seen these folk give the same offer on U.S. forums and they do ship out free samples. Heck I emailed just before and got a few pen blanks samples being shipped out Monday.
I think it's a fairly legitimate offer. Time will tell.

Dean ..... I am not doubting that they will send free samples however if you look under new posts for the last few hours you will find a number by this same poster in different forums all trying to flog their wood. This is not the first time that this olive wood has flooded the forums and if I am not mistaken they were politely informed of the rules of ediquatte last time.

I have no problem with somebody wanting to sell/advertise a wood working related item on these boards but when there a numerous posting, on different forums from a new poster I think it is too much.

Stinky.

I apologize if I have flooded your forum.I am unable to work in the shop for the next month and there is much I would like to share with this forum.
I also thought I would give a chance to fellow woodworkers to try some of our Bethlehem Holy Land Olive Wood.

I think that you have been on here before.

Please read the rules and act appropriately otherwise you will find out what "sic em " really means.

Don't flood the forums. http://www.click-smilies.de/sammlung0304/spezial/Fool/bur2.gif

Who are you???????.

You sign of as Diane Darwesh but your public profile shows that you are a carver, father, sculptor.

Is it like that song " A boy named Sue " but " A guy named Diane ? "

Dear Peter,

My husband signed up on this forum awhile back.

Diane,

In that case you may not know the history or rules of this board.

Do what says or else he may hit the magic delete button  and your posts will be gone.

How about updating and changing the public profile if you are going to post under Olivewood from now on.

I don't care if someone wants to flog their stuff. If you stop and think about it, there are a few members doing just that, but that's the thing, ya gotta stop and think.

The saturation point is pretty low for advertising though.

Neither do I. There are lots of them on this board that do it too, that is why there is a forum for it, and those that object don't need to look at that forum.

However the frequency and using inappropriate forums can be annoying.
