Anyone here who has outgrown their hercus and is looking for an upgrade?

Then here is a nice handy size machine just what you need

I thought long and hard about it - but I don't think my current tooling will fit the toolpost and I doubt they'd deliver for such a low price.

I thought about it but I was a bit worried about chatter taking a full depth of cut with 1/4" HSS bits..

If in Sydney, you can catch a ferry to Cockatoo Island, and see lathes like this, and other big stuff. It's an enjoyable day out.

One or more but not limited to the following will encourage her to find it

1.The bank statement....
2. The electricity bill is way way to high
3. All the neighbours have moved out cos of light and TV dimming when I crank it up
4. I had to stop drinking (to be able to pay for the tooling)
5. Too many members from the woodwork forum begin dropping around
etc etc

Trust me....she'll find out!!

i dread that day :C i fear its coming soon oh i have said it before and ill say it again all the good stuff is in BLOODY MELBOURNE!!!!!!!!! :((

something tells me we could just fit it in our workshop at work.... but then we wouldnt be able to use the overhead crane :D

Just remember that OH&s will make you fit an interlocking chuck guard to it.:doh:
