I was wondering if someone could help me out with hints and tips using google sketchup 8. I have looked up numerous tutorials and so far none of them have helped me so far. I have also spent many hours trying to design the bar I plan to build on it to no success, it never turns out right from the start. I would appreciate any help I can get with this.
Cheers,
Matt :)

Hi Matt,

What exactly are you looking for when you say "tips and hints"?

When you are drawing complex designs, the most important thing to do is create components and/or groups.

Feel free to asks, I'll help if I can.

If you click the link it will lead you to the drawn plans of the bar I am building, but having some good google sketch up images would be handy to have because I reckon you get a better understanding, so really any help would be appreciated:2tsup:

Hi Matt,

The drawings you made are not that clear so I made something up:D.

I made it without any fancy joinery, just to get a general idea.

Just imagined to build it from plywood.

See the attached file's.
