Interesting

Now I know what to do with all those piccies of bark I've been taking for ages
but people will think I'm some sort of copycat

also available here (http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Dstripbooks&field-keywords=bark&x=19&y=15)on Amazon

Reminds me of some of the wet-trunk Snow Gums up in the high country.

I do wonder though with one of the Eu pics whether PhotoShop may have had a role; very saturated colour.

Maybe I don't get out enough.

The bark 'lips' on that Poplar (?) are a knockout.

Truly amazing stuphph!

Ern, I think you sometimes need to be lucky with conditions to get a spectacular photo and I hope that is the case with this fellow.

Also from here (http://www.bookdepository.co.uk/book/9780711231375/Bark), a fair bit cheaper.

Very quick delivery from this mob, have bought quite a few books from them now.
