Can anybody inform me as to were I can get coils of bandsaw blade ( wood )?,so I can make mine own.I dont like the idea of paying the exorbitant prices for the pre-made ones!
Preferably in the Adelaide area.
I would also like to know what the general census is as to which/what is the best wood glue to use for radiata pine.

Hi Chipmonk,
I realise I'm in Vic. & your in SA, & hope that doesn't matter.

I have 2 ; C&S Saw Service, ( Max Simmon) 9 80221040, Mt. Waverley 3149.
I think he would send you a coil.

McDivens Saws, Kororoit Creek Road, Williamstown 3016.
I'm sorry I don't have all of their Address or Ph. No.
These are the people that I get my Roll off. 100 ft. 6TPI. x 3/8in. Skip Tooth, Hard point by Hankasonn ? & I paid $ 85.00.

So I get 12 Blades @ a cost of $7.55 ea. after I've Silver Soldered them. Easy as Pie.
You can quite easily get the rest of the A & Ph. off White Pages.
At the moment, I'm up to approx. 2 1/2 yrs. & still have 5 Blades left.
I have a 14in Bandsaw, & 2375mm. is my length of Blade.
Regards,
issatree.
