Makita LS1017l

I was at the big green shed today and I see they have the Makita LS1017L is stock.

I have been thinking of buying the Makita 1016 but I am having trouble justifing the cost for the amount of use' (I use my table saw for most work)

I am after some feedback from folks who have/use the LS1017:roll:.

I have this saw and its been good so far. I only use it lightly (non trade). The laser which I thought was a bit of a gimmick at first has grown on me and I wouldn't like to go back to a saw without one.
