For a client that does reproduction of early English furniture. Not Woodwould. :D

They are 120mm x120mm Laminated Blackwood.

Nice one :2tsup: Wish my matching pieces were so exact.

I would have thought for early English stuff he would have wanted solid timber in lieu of laminated though.

Nicely done! :thyel: They used a lot of Blackwood for legs in England back in the old days... and just the same shape as those too!

Nice turning.

Ugly design IMO but the wide angle lens setting doesn't help.

Wouldwood, what kind of blackwood would that have been?

Wouldwood, what kind of blackwood would that have been? Thanks Ern. I only have one digital camera. I am not a photographer.:(

The design was set by the client and photograph. Not as bad as some I have had to do.

I would be very interested in seeing the table if you still have the photo.

Ern, agree 100% about the design.

It just shows that production turners will, at times, sell their souls on a commission. :D:D:D

And nice work too, . Good to see you turning "proper" spindles again, not LOGS.

Good to see that the human touch can and does run circles around mechanical duplicaters - Rock on :D

Nice solid set of legs ! :2tsup:
Are they for a refectory type table?
I once did a similar set only to see them in the local antique shop under a table I was told was 300 years old!
Unlike WW's work the table wouldn't have fooled any serious buyer, especially when the legs were turned from kapur bought at Bunnings.:-
