Turned a couple of Leptospermum spinescums (Tea Tree), the smell of the oil while turning was beautiful, and fairly strong.

I have not turned tea tree yet but the piece I have is lot more red than that I wonder if they are different species:rolleyes:

G'day RP, Possibly, as not many species are endemic to WA. Most have been " imported "from over East, & there are hundreds of species if you include hybrids. Col

wish i didn't see that tea tree...i had a large tree taken down from home and didn't even think to keep any of it:doh:....its nice looking stuff
