Looks great Erle, I assume the vent hole determines the lowest note? Is it all hollow? how do you stop the dirt getting into the bottom of the stick/flute?

Right on with the vent hole Sebastiaan. There was a bit of stuffing about there and there are actually 3 holes in about the same location to give it an accurate fundamental. The next model should only need two for the same result and will be neater and stronger. The central hole only goes as far as the vents and thus no problems with dirt.

That looks pretty awesome , did you make the handle for it as well or was that and add on from something already made?

That's a bit of mahogany there with a Delrin tip, made specially for that stick.
