Compared to the abundance of water currently on the ground in Queensland my complaint here is a mere "drop in the bucket" (pun intended). This damn humidity is going to kill me, the current temperature in Melbourne is 25.4 with a Dew Point of 23.7 and a Relative Humidity of 90%, my hallway is as slippery as an ice rink.

Sea breezes are great GJ. moreover even better on a cruise but you'll have to wait awhile:D

We've had nothing but hot & dry here in the west.

Cheers:)

Those numbers are a recipe for a severe thunderstorm, and also for amine bloom (http://www.pcimag.com/CDA/Archives/d60730362e059010VgnVCM100000f932a8c0____) in epoxy adhesives and coatings, John. And it makes your drawer fronts expand and stick. DAMHIKT.

The front of my drawers is none of your business Alex :whistling1: :D.

Dont worry John the new house will be closer to the water so you can get the sea breezes in your drawers and then worry about global warming and rising sea levels.

 Grumpy, the humidity - if you call it that has been beadyful. I've been like a pig in mud. :2tsup:

What's this! Compiling about the new house already?
Heck its a only a dash of moisture. At least you have some. Some people just don't seem to even get rain.

You are quite, quite sick! I haven't opened any of the windows or outside doors for days let alone stepped outside. I didn't even open the front door to sign for a parcel today; Mrs. Wood can collect it from the Post Office at the weekend!

John, I am thinking a few dozen beers then a game of carrier landings. That's probably just me though :)

The humidity problem ... is that why my front entry door
has started sticking badly.

For three days I thought I had been locked out.:D

Melbourne just recorded 4 consecutive days over 95% for the first time in 50 years. 95, 95. 96 and 95%

Up here in Ballarat we went 98, 98, 99, and 99% never known anything like it. Floors, benches and clothes all wet, rust coverings on everything metal. So bizzar…

Came back to my shed today, further down the Peninsula, and all the windows were steamed up with the humidity. Never known/seen that in 10 years! Got to be good for the garden.
