Does anyone have any impressions/opinions on this lathe on EBay?

Basically the same lathe as this one

https://www.machineryhouse.com.au/Products?stockCode=W384

Nice set of tools to go with it, but I couldn't see the standard access such faceplate, spanners etc., but I could have missed them

Good set of Sorby tools, but be careful not to overspend on this package as the starting price is already about where I think it should be.

Edit:

Just had another look at the pics, there is a chuck key for a wood turning chuck there, but no chuck. Be worth a question to the seller as this could increase the worth of the package.

This is considered a starters lathe, I started with its' smaller sister the MC900. The variable speed is nice to have but has some mechanical limitations.

There lots of threads on this forum about MC900/MC1100 lathes, some searching and reading would be of assistance in you decision making process.

Thanks Big Shed, the listing only raised one eyebrow and I thought the starting price was a little steep. This is why this forum is so good, the advice is invaluable.

The price is not realy that steep when you consider that the Sorby tools would be worth that without the lathe
