Is there any way to cut 16mm melamine on a TS ( if it doesn't have a scouring blade) and stop the under edge cracking and chipping?

Appreciate any suggestions.

I have obtained excellent results using zero clearance insert and a CMT Fine cut of blade for Carbatec. There practically no chipping and any chips are very minute and hardly noticeable.

I get great results using a 40T blade on my Triton. A zero clearance insert is the way to go or alternately you could use a sacrificial piece of 3mm (?) mdf. You could also try masking tape along the cutting line.

Thanks for the ideas guys. I've tried masking tape but it made no difference. Looks like a trip to Carbatec tomorrow.
