Saw it yesterday as well, price was adjusted very quickly

:oo:What was it before?

With a lathe price of $1600 new from GPW the "centre steady-Vermec external index system and many extras" must be valued at a lot to get to that asking price.

edit Just found the re-listed lathe (http://cgi.ebay.com.au/JET-WOOD-LATHE-AS-NEW-VARIABLE-SPEED-MODEL-JWL-1442-/110646956118?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_15&hash=item19c3129056), strange that the original listing is still running.

That sounds more reasonable, I thought $8500 Buy It Now was just a bit over the top!:D

Had me a little perplexed at first then saw the second listing. Pity it's in WA, might have had a bid.

Out of curiosity I just looked at this and the price has now been changed to the same as the other listing, but they are both still listed.

Pictures look the same to me:?

I think this guy has bolloxed up the listing, have just emailed him to clarify if he has 'two' lathes, not one.

This was his response to an e-mail I sent him yesterday!

There were two ads put in, one was a mistake asking eight thousand plus, but a correct ad was put in with the asking price of $840 or buy now $895. The extras being a centre steady, Vermec external index system, some chisels, face plates, soft drive, screw chuck, two spare belts, and various tool rests.
