After spending my time for building a staircase, and just finishing a kitchen renovation project at my home, I'm happy to be able working again in my workshop.
Had found in my wood store a nice rectangular left over piece of maple, just good enough for a oval bowl.
So I installed the oval turning device on the lathe and started turning.
Here a few pictures of the process, a small crack is visible.

And here the finished bowl, axis dimensions 180x150mm, height 50mm, finished with decorative acrylic lacquer.

Thanks guys, not so nice to discover a crack while turning, but the fun of turning makes me happy in the first place, still it's a pity!!!
