Thanks for some great ideas - the tea towel rack and the wire basket ones might just save me some work!

Brett - I love your use of some storage that otherwise wouldn't be in the garage. I am rather concerned about the huge butchers knife on one of your tool racks though!. Is that for keeping people away from your tools or cutting up the steak you cooked up with the oxy torch?

Bit of both really.

It's very sad that I went looking for a Facebook style 'like' button to your response!

G'day Sawdust...noice. But aren't the F-clamps a bit fiddly to get off? I throw mine 2 at a onto a 4" nail. I think I'll use my last towel rack for the Spring Clamps as you have done - much more compact.

I also have a kitchen utensil rack that has removable ends so that the rod comes out, and I put sandpaper rolls on it. It's overhead from my sanding station, with a pair of scissors nearby.

Ya gotta love the 43w Nelson globes eh? Bloody expensive though.

Cheers, FF

Cheers Lignum. Btw, the basket can also be used for a hot glue gun, which reduces dripping.

You can't be referring to my shed
I've got to hang stuff up because there's no bench space - or space for anything really

I'll take a piccy of the sandpaper curtain rail and the real clamp rack later

here's (http://www.woodworkforums.com/f245/show-us-ya-shed-89947/index3.html#post905743l%22) my tidy shed approx two years ago - there has been change but it's hard to spot :q

I said I'd post my sandaper roll holder

old curtain rod hanging from a truss - the finials add that certain touch of class

Clamp holder
is between trusses - clamps rest between melamine sheets with a piece of oregon for strength at the front - the spring clamp (towel rail) is at the back. And yes that is a circa 1970s Sansui amp in the background - The shed has to rock :o :D

Thought I'd also show my saw holder - yeah I know I don't have the world's best looked after collection or the most sought after but anyway posted to give ideas. Made out of MDF - maybe ply would work better  (yep I use the japanese pull saws mostly.)

Fence Furniture ,
Your neat storage ideas are inspiring, I am still too embarassed to provide pics of my shed as it is still such a mess. Maybe with some more time and inspiration from persons like yourself I can create some magic of my own to display.
Thanks Mate!
