I have used Williams' method and it works very well. Nice smooth finish right off the paper towel. Not the same gloss level as straight CA, but very easy to apply.

Yep, Bill's method works quite well if you want to use BLO with the CA.

That is the method I use most of the time. Quick, easy and nice results.

Yes have used this method and it works very well. You can always use this method to start off with and then continue with straight CA to achieve an even greater shine.
