I have an easier approach - I lie on the lounge and shout and the TV, that way I know I won't have a fall. :U

As long as it's sport on the TV and you are directing your vocal disapproval at an incompetent referee or umpire. Then it's OK. That's the Aussie way.

What if you shout at politicians?

Cliff,

you are so lucky that you are in wonderful FNQ. If you were in NSW at the moment you would be doing more that shouting at your TV.

I reckon this election campaign has destroyed more TVs in the past week than all of the natural disasters of the past couple of months.

I've always liked the idea of a toy gun with those suction cup arrows, trouble is my SWMBO wouldn't see the funny side to having the arrows stuck all over the TV. :doh2:

My little bloke and girl would love it though. :2tsup:  Maybe I should go down to the toy shop. :D

Cliff

Knowing I would have difficulty coming to terms with regressing into my ancestors' personnas, they deliberately entered into a conspiracy that kept me from knowing them. They even went to the ultimate length of dying before I was of a conscious age.

These acts lead me to believe that it was a real conspiracy. Consequently I am unable to offer advice on grandfathers.

However, I do know that you have become like your father when you tell your son to keep that flat stick because we can use it as a paint stirrer.:D

Paul

You want to borrow a paint stirrer?

I think I may have a spare one or two or three, actually, there are a couple of bucketfuls out there.

I've got a flat stick - with holes in it :2tsup: And it was my Grandfathers' paint stirrer too.

Actually I have bucket loads. I was looking for someone to take them off my hands.

Alternatively, if somebody would like to donate a few hundred gallons of paint...... Oh, then I'd have even more work......Never mind:rolleyes:.

Glad I have a few of you out there who understand; Maybe even sympathise?:D

Regards
Paul

PS. I would probably be in front of the TV cursing and swearing too if the thing was working.

Stand beside the idiot box as you curse and swear that the damn thing is on the blink - again, then give it a hard smack on the side and it will come on. :2tsup:

Then take a few steps back and continue cursing and swearing about the gits on the box nowadays. :D

Didn't know one grandfather as he diedwhen my father was young. Other grandfather died not so many years after TV began here in Oz.

I,m hoping to set a precedent in the family. I want my grandkids to yell at the TV.
