The latest news letter put out by the City of Stirling has a interesting article in reference to the constuction of a purpose built shed for the behalf of men in the City of Stirling, the shed is to be called The Stirling Community Men's Shed and is to located in the suburb of Balcatta.
The shed is funded by City of Stirling, Lotterywest, Home and Community Care and the Department of Veteran's Affairs.
I gather the shed is programed to complete around June or July.
The shed is to be set up with woodworking machines,meeting and lunch room, BBQ and garden area, and I guess also a fridge.:2tsup:

I hope it works as well as our shed at Castle Hill is working.

Remember, the stuff that your members turn out is nowhere near as important as the fact that they are working side by side.

It is the camararderie (is that really a word?) , the good natured bull, that goes on, that is the important stuff.

Also the Australian Men' Shed Association.

We are just in the infant stages here in Roleystone. Hoping that there will be enough interest to get the shed on the ground.
