Had an enquiry from a retired US Marine for a 7.56 (.308) pen.

Bottom barrel is .308 (7.56) rifle cartridge with .30 cal (real) projectile, top barrel is same .308 rifle cartridge but in 2 parts.dressed in Cherry burl from Maine USA.

Another happy customer.

Currently working on another, very specific, order for this customer.

Very nicely done Fred!
Not sure about the Copper Finial and Clip, doesn't really complement the Cherry Burl or the Copper Bullet.

? Are you saying copper doesn't go with copper ?

Anyway, as the saying goes, the customer is always right:2tsup:

Well done Fred the pen looks excellent and it is good to see you win an export I also won one a couple of weeks ago for a snake skin and I thought the parity of the dollar was against us.

I like the way you cut the upper barrel a segmented the cherry burl into the two parts of the bullet. i am with Les not too sure of the copper look at the finial but as you say the customer is always right.

congratulations on a nice pen.

Fred,

I am always impressed by the real intent and execution when you work on those Cartridge pens, this one is extremely well made, when confronted with aesthetics every one has their decision to make the parts are special. Your person will be over the moon as it seems their choice in this case.

Kind regards Peter.:2tsup:
