Any body have any info on these lathes?

I have just acquired a small one and have no info at all and as it needs a bit of restoration, info would come in handy.

Nice place for a lead screw :)
Whats that on the back of the spindle? A collet chuck closer or a clutch?

yeah a bit different, its on the inside of the bed and the feed bar is on the out side

Dunno as yet it looks like a clutch affair that can advance a bar for repetition turning

That is a collet closer on the back of the spindle, usually they need to be removed before using a chuck as the tube inside will damage the spindle. Do you have any collets? If you can take the chuck off and see if it has a draw tube inside the spindle

That looks like an interesting gear drive to the leadscrew do you have any detailed photos of it?

oh your tailstock looks like its from another lathe maybe, it could have been a production turret lathe
