I too was wondering about pictures but never asked. Nice machine, does it live up to your expectations? Any projects done yet to show up pictures of?

I am pretty sure they are like the 3D Taster sold by H&F's

It is a very well designed machine and the build quality is excellent too, everything I got came in four boxes (two strapped together as one) and it all went together without a problem, I had to install the drive for the fourth axis in the control box on the right hand side of the column, and just followed the printed instructions.
I don't have a lot of spare time to play with the machine at the moment, so there are no projects yet all I have done so far is to have a play with a few of the Mach 3 wizards.

Hi Will,

Very impressive machine, I just watched a few of the video's on the Tormach web site.

Looking forward to hearing more about how you find to use in practice, and seeing what it can do!.

Nice machine :2tsup:

Regards
Ray

PS Stuart,

Stuart

Yes you need one... It's for setting zero ( for the CNC axes ) against a reference point...

I think you will find its a purpose made Indicator, you set your zero or datum for your tool changes.
Once they have been set during a run its continuos tool changes with each tools zero datum preset in the controller.
