I was browsing the Mik website and under the specials category they are advertising Hegner Unimax Scrollsaws for $315.00, claiming nearly half price. well not for me i'll just watch you guys and girls...

Its a different sort of scrollsaw to the norm that saw, the top assembly can be removed so that just the small blade comes out of the table. Apparently handy for fretwork as you dont have to undo the blade to move to the next cut each time.
I saw one at Albury earlier in the year. Have not used one so am unsure of what they are like to use, but not a bad price reduction.
