Hi everyone, this time is not a bottle, although I must say that I was tempted to put a ball in one of the craters:rotfl:, plate have a diameter of 30 cm. and wood use is called Palo Blanco, is a native of northern Argentina, Paraguay border, is very similar to boxwood, but this is more closed pore wood is very compact and semi-hard, is excellent for turning and to carving. For the grid lines in use a router mounted on the same lathe. (excusme if mi english is not very clear):C

Great work Michael, very effective and well made. Don't apologise for your English, it's a lot better than my Spanish (and probably my English!)
