Hey fellas. Ive built a vertical bulkhead in the center of my kitchen to cover up some plumbing using a timber frame with Gyprock plasterboard on the outside. Ive then flushed the joins/corners with a Gyprock pre-mixed compound, and then primed the bulkhead with a Dulux plasterboard primer. The question im asking here boys, is what preparation is required for me to tile over a section of the bulkhead? On both my brick walls, which meet this box, is a tiled splashback and id like to continue this around the bulkhead. Any advice would be great!

Will the plasterboard hold the weight of the tiles? Even with the base coat of primer?

Paint the gyprock with liquid flash or similar to make a moisture membrane if there is any risk or moisture/steam etc. Cheap insurance. Cheers.
