Hi,

I'm after one of these .......but instead of 1/4" radius I want something smaller. 1/8" radius be perfect.

I'm not sure they make them. I've tried a couple spots without luck.

but has to have 1/4" shank.

thanks

Jake

thanks..... by the looks of it......to get the 1/8" radius I'll have to get a multibead.

Jake, have you thought of using a scratchstock (http://villagecarpenter.blogspot.com/2007/12/scratch.html)? could be the go if you cant get the cutter you want.

thanks alex. scratchstock is what I use normally. like this sort of thing.

probably what I'll end up using anyway, but I find they can be a bit tricky across end grain. tear a bit. and much much slower to use.

but then its kinda tricky getting a similar profile with a router bit I spose...dont' want that wider flat at the bottom of the groove routers tend to leave. had an idea to grind it finner but then it might be wide for a reason, and burn...

idon'tknow.

If you give these guys a call I'm sure they will be able to help.
CARB-I-TOOL (http://www.carbitool.com.au/contact.html)
Even if it is a custom job. They make the bits for Roger Gifkin.
All the best
