If you anticipate 4wd'ing a pop top is one option.

This crowd has some good ones that are well built.

Depends upon whether you have a tray back ute or a tub ute?

We have a tray back with a 1.8m wide by 2.25m long tray.

An important issue is just where in relation to the centre of your tray, your rear axle is. If you are running a dual cab or an extended cab version, as opposed to a single cab chassis with a tray back, then you may, just may have issues with overhang at the rear.

We have a slide on camper similar to the one the link goes to, to ensure we had no overhanging problems, which we did, we got a chassis extension done in QLD.

There are quite a few manufacturers of slide-on canvas campers and slide-on pop-top campers then there are the other end of the market with the slide-on camper with a hard top.

I looked for three years before finding what we wished for, then we had someone build it more or less to our specifications.

Mick.
