Nice to see Nova actually produce something to match their time-worn claims of being an innovator.

I did talk to them at the AAW Symposium about their lathes. The only thing I don't like about the lathe is the speed ranges, and how they change them. Having learned on a 3 phase motor, with the dial a speed thing, I really prefer that to their slow ramp up and ramp down speed set up. They told me that is pretty much how their motor will work, and it can't be done like the other lathes out there. Also minimum speed is way to high for me to sand out my warped bowls. Other than that, a fine lathe, and I have been surprised about how much torque it has for a smaller sized motor.
