hi guys ,
a small bowl made from mallee burl,250mmx120mm finished with eee & shellawax.
any comments and advice welcome

Looks good. A bit different from the usual flat-top natural edges you commonly see.

How on earth did you apply EEE and Shellawax to that without slashing off your arms to the knee? I have just tried two natural edged bowls ( pretty average) and used Danish oil. Would have loved to use EEE but didn't have the courage. Newish turner so forgive the question if it is dumb.:-

thanks for the comments,it is certainly not a dumb question
firstly i turned the bottom and ''polished'' the solid part of the bowl
turn it around and ''polished the inside and then carefully polished the edges off the lathe with a polishing mop in the chuck:2tsup:
hope that makes sense:wink:
