SWMBO went looking for a new place for us to live the other day and came back looking quite pleased with herself. Told me she had found the PERRRRFECT place.

Whether through fear or past experiences (which could be the same thing) I let her have her head and we decided to go ahead with the purchase. From the front it looked OK and I thought yep the lady has taste. But.........when I went around the back of the house LOOK WHAT ELSE SHE HAD BOUGHT ME!!!!!!

cheers

You could be right, but it's going to take some getting used to being able to walk more than 3 steps in any one direction.

Yes to the sheds the other is fuzzy at the moment:roll:

But there's heaps of space for the odd coffee or 3.
I could even help to clean out some of the timber in the carport for you:U

Excellent. Now you will be in control of your own destiny. That is, when your wife goes shopping.

As far as offering to help Neil and his carport, forget it. I have thought of that but every time I go over there and leave he always follows me out to my car. I thought it was just good manners but I suspect it is really to check that I do not load my vehicle up with some goodies.

Personally I don't think that many could hack the challenge of cleaning out his carport. Some tasks go in the "too hard" basket.:roflmao:

Mmm. Thought so. A brother in law has one. Same colour. I called it "the mafia staff car." Received a rebuke from SHMBO for the comment. She had to retract when another brother in law bought the 300C owner a toy tommy gun for it:D.

Only a couple of grand in it though, and it all comes down to resale and reliability, and in these days of high fuel prices, fuel consumption. Take a look at the on line guide....for BMW 320i petrol overall consumption 7.6 l/100km
BMW 320d diesel overall consumption 5.3 l/100km

Chrysler 300c 6 cyl petrol overall fuel consumption 8.0l/100km
Chrysler 300c 6 cyl diesel overall consumption 7.7l/100km

My money's on the beamer when all is added up, particularly the resale. JMHO
