I'll be in that, at 5 or 6 bucks I 'll take a few.

The most recent guard/cover I came up with works well.

But I have discovered that the profile of the cutter has as much to do with as guard configuration. :2tsup:

I just ordered 9 cutters. Combined international priority postage was $4.80.
Cheaper to order direct than rather than a bulk purchase and then re package and post from here?

I ordered 3 different ones just to experiment, postage each was $2, without prompting he changed the postage on the order to $2.70.

Not worth paying double postage at those rates!

Oh, I ordered yesterday afternoon, just got shipping confirmation, they're in the mail:2tsup:

It cost me us$8.00 postage for 20 which is good. Your right about re pack/post in Aust. as it would take up to 2 weeks for Aust Post to send up to Darwin on experience. Only took 1 week for my last order from US.

Not as yet, its based on the TCT review I did sometime earlier and looking at the Munro cutters shape/configuration and the Hunter tips from the USA.Plus some work on cup cutters and the flow of swarf off them.
I was looking at a getting a few via a bulk order as I am in the middle of changing banks re mortgage rates etc.

I ordered 1 of each of his tips, he posted them 10/8, they arrived 17/8, he included 4 screws no charge.

Have made up a holder for each, still have to make handles for same.

179602

From left to right, square tip, radius tip with square corners, radius tip with round corners.

Holders are 165mm long with a 65mm tang and 100mm square part. Front of the holder is milled at 10deg angle.

Now to make some wooden handles and try them.

Round cutters have proven the hardest to source IIRC.

The orig. EWT discs have polished bevels in my best guess and for finishers that's well worth the dough.

Made another one, this time the cutter is at 22.5 deg to the shaft. Copied this design from a guy on IAP. no idea how well it will work, but all it cost was a bit of time and some 1/2" square bar.

May I ask what they are used for please. Really they look more like metal lathe bits.
