Whilst the English Woodturning Magazine is value for money with great advice and projects, the missing component for me is an Australian flavour. I'd love to read about Australian Woodturners, Australian timbers and in general, what's going down in the world of Australian Woodturning. Which brings me to the question, why haven't we got an Australian Woodturning Magazine?

Too small a market, perhaps

I agree Scott - even if it was published bi-monthly. There is a lot of stuff that doesn't fit in with the broad woodworking mags. As you say - different timbers, resins, inlays, lathe reviews, new products et al.

Could be a business oportunity there for some keen woodturners

Don't worry there Ironwood, my mind is/going down that path. Even online perhaps. Wonder what the owners think of an email weekly digest of the best and most informative posts on this forum? Beginnings? These forums are a gold mine of information which needs to be exploited and tapped.
