Good Evening Ladies and Gentlemen
Been quite busy lately, but have managed to get out to the 'Studio' for a sesh or two between family, volleyball and other activities.
All are finished in Danish oil.
Although not strictly turning, I have added a couple of burls done with the Arbortech (wood turning link, the tools were rested on the lathe bed before and after use
1. Jarrah Burl, embellished. Approximately 250mm and 50mm high
2. Large York Gum. Known to me as the propellor after the noise it made whilst spinning on the lathe, it is by far the scariest thing I have turned, all the spikes, out of balance and extremely dense, 465mm x 45mm. Known as the 'Turtle' by the daughter
3. Jacarandah platter, 330mm x 60mm
4. Carved Gimlet burl, 400mm x 150mm high
5. Carved Jarrah Burl, 350mm (The Loveheart)
Sincerely
Willy
