Reliable Tools sold this the other day for $104.50. I do have a selection of Ridgid plumbing tools at home and often see the fire services bloke's Ridgid pipe threading machines on site. I don't know if this is in the same league.

Anyone seen one in the flesh?

I think it maybe just another re badged Chinese machine.

I'm thinking along the same lines Dave. I had a quick look for images of the pipe threaders and they share nothing but the paint job.

It does say "Made in USA" on the plate. The gearbox case is cast in the arm.
They did have to copy someone after all lol

Bloody hell, so THAT'S what the original looked like!
I's been made by Rung Fu (or something like it) ever since - with whichever company name the order requests :)
I have a Rung Fu form about 30 years ago which looks identical - and works very well. I've cut a 6"x9" cast iron block on it once - took over 3 hours and made the motor too hot to touch :) (it had a step in it which allowed me to cut that deep - the 9" bit didn't have to fit under the bow....)

Cheers,
Joe
