The timber came from a friend who had to cut down a walnut tree in front of his home.

I am currious tho how do you cut through the wood with a bandsaw without leaving any cuts into the wood on the sides?

I just slice the bottom off before making my drawer cuts, and then glue it back to close the drawer opening after the cuts.

I used a clear lacquer type spray and then polished it.
