Just about got the thread chasing by the short and curlies now. Next step was to thread a bit of laminating. This one is 80mm high and 65mm diameter mad from spotted gum and yellow walnut stripes. Actually the body part is a bit left over from another job and the inlay in the top and bottom also was a left over. I needed to inlay bits top and bottom because the body bit was a tube. finished with a coat of sanding sealer and Ubeaut Glow.

Perhaps someone can keep Jim away from the glue pot at Proserpine this year...... :D:D:D Only how many sleeps to go????

Chances are minimal I'd expect.

Vern, I have a similar project prepared for Prossy, so you can still see it done.
As for the rest of you lot, I still haven't found the best glue.... :oo: :D:D:D
