Not sure lathe bed is at right height looks a bit dangerous where he's holding that gouge :o

6 hours? Biyt slow evwen for me :hmm:

Maybe could dig a hole so the lathe is at the right height! :shrug: Might have to buy a digger! :D

Doesn't look to portable to me , very ingenious, and I would hate to have a major catch , could be interesting :rolleyes::rolleyes:

could end up looking like QUASIMODO :D:D, trying to work on a machine like this..

My back is aching just from looking at the position he was turning in. And for 6 hour's!

But I noticed that he did not use his Toes to control his tools once.

Ann Marie what you could do for poor old is dig the trench for him so he does not have to hurt his poor old back , push all the shavings back into the trench when finished and then back fill , no one would be the wiser and 's back will be fine and dandy.

As a matter of fact Big Henry was made to have hydraulic drive fitted but we ran out of time so back to belts and pulleys.

One day, maybe.
