Hughie, a lovely piece of maple, beautifully turned, nice and simple. Maple can be a right pita, especially the end grain areas. :2tsup:

Yes I found that out the hard way, cough, cough, splutter, and a heap of sanding dust in the shed. :U
Your all most generous with your comments. No havent retired just a mad rush to get a few Christmas presents, you will note they all soft wood :U so easy turning.... and sanding
