7X5" CL finished with DO with a DIY mix. Carved by hand although the initial line was done with a Dremel and Archer carving attachment.
One thing I do need is to finish off my light tent, these sort of pieces come up real well under a good light setting.

Thanks for all your positive comments, its been over 40 yrs since I did any carving. I actually started out carving and then moved to the lathe at a later stage

Actually it was a branch about 8-10" dia , my little 14" chainsaw was no match for the main trunk :C 1.2m dia
